What are Q Stands?
Q stands also called stanchions are 90 cm or 100 cm height steel or brass poles with a base. At least two Q stands are connected with ropes or retractable belts to form a barrier. They are used for many purposes such as crowd control, marking off areas, protecting arts in museums or designating “Do Not Enter” or “Protected Equipment” areas.
Q stands with velvet or braided ropes are typically used in applications where an elegant look is desired such as museums, exhibitions or fairs while retractable belts are designed for standard crowd control for areas like airports, banks, sports venues and shopping malls.
